C.J. Senter: The Workout Kid

C.J. Senter is known as “the Workout Kid” and he is quite a unique little man. C.J. is blowing away everyone with his athletic abilities but there are so many things that make this 10-year-old quite a phenomenon. Read on to find out more!

Superstar C.J.

He is a superstar football player, he makes his own DVDs as a workout instructor, he loves to eat healthy, he educates and motivates others to be healthy, and he has a great attitude on and off the football field. Is C.J. the new Superman?

C.J. loves to work out and train hard, but he doesn’t use weights because he knows that kids should not do any weight training. C.J.’s secret is just to do exercises with his body and eat really healthy foods… and a lot of them!

“It feels great,” C.J. says by phone from his Georgia home. “I love staying fit and healthy.”

C.J.’s dad Carlos Senter is totally shocked about how his son became such a fit kid. Carlos says that C.J. has put him and his wife to shame. Apparently C.J. has a stronger work ethic than everyone in his family.

“He doesn’t really eat candy,” Carlos says. “I have no idea why.”

What really makes C.J. a interesting kid is the fact that he has such a great attitude. C.J. is a star athlete and he always has great sportsmanship to his teammates and his opponents. C.J. makes workout DVD’s that he wanted to give away for free to other kids to help get them off the couch. Can you believe it? What a guy!!!

C.J.’s dreams are to make it into the NFL and to be a running back. C.J.’s already been named MVP for the state of Georgia as an 8-and-under, and last year he played in the 10-and-under group as a 9-year-old. High school coaches are already trying to get C.J. to come play for their school.

C.J. does seem happy, even though he’s a little bit tired of when kids come up to him at school and ask, “Are those your real muscles?”

Of course we can! It's true that we're a little less strong physically, but we can. "Can't" means just that, we can't. And that's wrong. It's true we have to deal with all that physical pain (I can whine about it for agesss) and mental pain too. And that some of us cry easily. But that's because we feel pain! So although we are less strong physically as I said earlier, girls can also think up ways to surprise someone in a fight. And that's a good thing to do to someone who laughs at a girl and says they cant fight.

Cheer-leading is a sport - most people think that it is not - but it is Yes it looks like they are just cheering on the football players - but their routines and being able to hold up girls over their head takes strength, and they work really hard to make everything look good.

I liked cheering for the underdog, so I've always cheered for the Cavs. I'd like to see how this year's line-up goes, though our past best point guard left for the Celtics.  :/
