Girls Costumes

On October 2, 2011, Disney officially welcomed Rapunzel as the 10th Disney Princess character at a high profile, star-studded celebration at Kensington Palace in London, UK. Little princesses from across the globe will watch Rapunzel be welcomed into the Disney Princess royal court by Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Snow White and Tiana.

To mark the occasion, Disney Store is celebrating Disney Princess by offering all 10 princess costumes and unique accessories inspired by their iconic gowns and dresses. Each Disney Princess character has a unique story that empowers girls to imagine and live their very own fairy tales, and each girl can find her favorite princess costume at Disney Store this Halloween.

Like Rapunzel in Tangled, your little princess can live her dreams while wearing the new Limited Edition Rapunzel Role Play costume. This dress mirrors Rapunzel’s dress in Tangled and is marked by rich violet colors, delicate flower trim and a shimmering skirt to help girls get ready for an adventure. To complete this look, girls can add the accompanying 3-foot-long wig and crown (sold separately).

Girls will also get excited over the new Cinderella Wedding role play dress. The details on this sparkling dress will impress any princess and make her feel ready to meet her prince charming.

In addition to princess costumes, girls can also select Jessie from Toy Story or the always classic Minnie Mouse.

Boys Costumes

This year, villains don’t stand a chance with Disney Store’s Halloween 2011 line up for boys that will transform boys into crime fighting superheroes, adventurous cowboys and more. Boys will be ready for action in the Captain America, Cars 2, Jack Sparrow and Spider Man role play costumes. They can also go to infinity and beyond with the Woody and the light-up Buzz Lightyear costumes.

If I had to make simple choice, I'd prefer to live in It's Kind of a Funny Story simply for the people who were held in it. Despite the location setting for the story, I feel as if I could very easily fall for the characters all over again, especially in an even more personal matter. But, of course, if I was  going with a straight up fantasy like everyone seems to be, I'd most likely go with a world like Dorthy Must Die series or Alice in Wonderland. Both being these magical worlds filled with quirky creatures and people, so how could you get bored? Oh, and of course let us not forget the plenty of harrowing fight scenes for freedom from the evil queens and her many brainless followers.

The Iron Giant was way too advanced in some ways to be a child's movie, yet it was.

I would live in The Outsiders because it's a classic book. I would love to go on adventures with the gang and read books and watch movies with Ponyboy. (Because I too always believed I was the only one who enjoyed them.) I would love to open up to Johnny because he is such a kind hearted soul.
