Roll your way to a new coat of feathers in the mini putt inspired game Egg Punch for the iPhone. Read Kidzworld’s review for all the details on this free app.

Funky Feathers

In Egg Punch, you are an adorable baby chic whose feathers have been stolen by rascally rabbits. How can you get them back? Put on your trusty egg shell and roll out in pursuit of the purple feathers. Egg punch is essentially one large game of mini putt. Players must use their shell as a ball, aiming it towards the hole while also collecting as many feathers as possible.

Putt Putt

The app has six different worlds with 54 levels in total. In the first world, gameplay is quite simple. There are minimal obstacles so you have plenty of time to get used to the game controls. In order to make your egg roll, you pull back and then release. While you are pulling back, a purple arrow will appear on the ground to guide your moves. This helps you see where your little chic might end up. This can be especially helpful for corners and obstacles you will encounter in more difficult levels.

Power Up

Players can earn extra points – which translate into coins – by completing a level in as few shots as possible. You will also get a bonus if you are able to bounce the egg around. Once you have enough coins you can trade them in for power-ups, new clothing for your egg and secret levels. If you get antsy enough you can also pay for in-app upgrades.

Overall Egg Punch is a highly addictive and enjoyable game. The levels make it easy to play on the go, since you don’t need a long time to complete them. It is a fun game that can be picked up anywhere. Best of all? It’s free! Egg Punch is available on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
