One Hundred Reasons
On your mark… get set… go!!! The track events for the 2012 London Olympics start on Friday, August 3rd and who isn’t excited for the 100 m races. You’re not going to want to miss this so make sure you figure out London time in your time zone (hint – when London bells chime midnight, it’s still only 7pm in New York City):
- Women 100m Preliminaries – 10:40am Friday, Aug 3rd
- Men 100m Preliminaries – 10:00am Saturday, Aug 4th
- Women 100m Final – 9:55pm Saturday, Aug 4th
- Men 100m Final – 9:50pm Sunday, Aug 5th
4 Year Wait
The last day of the Olympics is always a sad day. We all think to ourselves, why do we have to wait another 4 years for this to happen? Well, if you don’t mind shedding a tear, make sure to catch the closing ceremonies on Sunday, August 12. You’re bound to see some special moments.
New New Yorker
Once the Olympics are done, we should all get off our butts and go play in the sun. However, if you have a broken leg, why not rest it off watching the New York Yankees for the rest of the summer. The Bronx Bombers just recently acquired another one of the greatest players baseball has to offer with Ichiro Suzuki.
