Disney's California Adventure Park

Greetings from California. I couldn't wait for this day... and now that it's here, I'm all trippin'-over-the-tongue girl. As you may or may not know, Simon is here for the summer to be part of the one-big-happy with me and the 'rents. After all the airport hugs, I asked Simon what he missed most about California. His list was longer than a DirtDawg, so my 'rents decided the best way to see the Golden State in a day was to check out Disney's California Adventure Park.

Sindy's Review of Disney's California Adventure Park

Lucky for the lil' ones (and my sis) that Disneyland is just next door, cuz except for A Bug's Land and Hollywood Pictures Backlot, California Adventure is all about the big thrills. My head is still spinning from my too many trips on the coaster supreme, California Screamin'. Loved it! And I'm sure that if free-falling 18 stories was my idea of a good time, Mailboomer would be near the top of my where-to-scream list as well, but the ride for me will always be Soarin' Over California. All wind-blown and dangly, I got to hang-glide over the Golden Gate, Yosemite and alot of other fave parts of the Golden State. Jammin' the whole park into one day is hard work and by the end of it Simon and I were wiped out, but I'm now sure of one thing... if Disneyland is the happiest place on earth, California Adventure Park is a pretty close second.

What Simon Says About Disney's California Adventure Park

It's great to be back in Sunsville, but the last thing I thought I'd be doing when I stepped off the plane was hanging with Tinker Bell. (The guys at home can never know!) But hey, I'm with Sindy and we're in California even if it is like a sea monkey version of it. But a strange thing happened. The more rides I rode, the more Californian I felt. My fave ride was totally whitewatering down the Grizzley River Run. (Sindy bailed cuz she didn't want to get wet.) I have to admit - I'm a little disappointed... turns out we're a week too early to catch a totally kickin' new event at D's California Adventure Park. From July 1st to August 10th, over 50 Xtreme athletes will perform in Disney's X Games, Xperience. You'll see demonstrations of action-packed skateboarding, Freestyle Moto X, BMX bike stunts and aggressive in-line skating. My opinion of the park has changed from this morning. California Adventure Park isn't just a state fair on steroids, it's California.

Alright, I need to vent about something. In this one role-play called Logan: The Beast Unleashed, I have this one character named Aiden who is a former mercenary assassin. (I know, pretty dark. But just hear me out here.) Aiden went to try and convince Logan to come back, and pretty much failed. Going to Logan, Aiden killed 5 thugs that he came across that were going to do something pretty bad if he didn't do something first. At the middle of the time he had there, he killed a guy that was going to inform people about him which would be awful. A month later, Aiden received a letter. The day after, a guy entered the side street that Aiden lived in, giving Aiden the right to kill him. Then the leader said, "Can you please tone it down with Aiden's killing?" I kill 5 guys, then 1 more, and when I kill a 7th guy, I'm told to tone it down. First, he killed 6 people in one day. Then one month and a day later, I kill someone and then told to tone it down. How does he know whether or not Aiden had been keeping away from killing people? Meanwhile, his character Carl kills whoever crosses his path, just to get to a girl. Carl goes and kill countless people and when I kill a 7th guy, I'm told to tone it down. Carl doesn't seem to be much different than Aiden! If anything,  he should tone it down! I just can't believe it. 1 month and 1 day later, kill a 7th guy and then, "Can you please tone it down?" HOW ABOUT YOU TONE IT DOWN?! It isn't very logical to tell me to tone it down when he has so much more going on! Sure, a lot has to change so Aiden can work with the others, but I don't want to be told to tone it down when Carl can't tone it down! Why can't Aiden just continue on with his usual act and make it more fun and challenging for when the time comes for Aiden to cooperate with others? *sarcastically* IT ISN'T LIKE ANYONE IS BEING PRO-FAVORED HERE! Seriously, the leader makes it so much harder for me to really do anything and makes it easier for everyone else. I'M NOT EVEN THE VILLAIN! I feel incredibly disrespected when he constantly makes it so much harder for me. Sure, the challenge is fun sometimes. But if I feel like as if I can't do anything and make no progress, then how in the world am I supposed to have fun? Role-playing is for having fun. I don't want to leave, I just don't to participate in a role-play where I can't have fun.
