Meet Lillix

Lillix is made up of 17 year-old Tasha-Ray Evin who sings and plays guitar. Tasha-Ray Evin's 19 year-old sister, Lacey-Lee Evin is the keyboardist and also sings. Louise Burns, 17, is Lillix's bassist and she sings too! Finally, the group is rounded out by 23 year-old drummer Kim Urhahn.

Lillix Rocks the Rockies

Tasha-Ray Evin, her sister Lacey-Lee and their buddy Louise Burns are all school friends from the rural town of Cranbrook, BC, Canada. Lillix was originally called Tiger Lilly and have been jamming together since they were about 11 years old. Cranbrook is a small town near the Canadian Rockies so the girls of Lillix weren't exactly near any kind of big music scene. Still, Lillix kept on writing lyrics and music and jamming their hearts out.

Lillix Falls Uphill

Lillix scored a big break when they signed a record deal with pop icon Madonna's label, Maverick Records. Tasha-Ray Evin, Lacey-Lee Evin and Louise Burns all share vocal and songwriting credits on their first album, Falling Uphill. The first single, It's About Time, has been very popular on radio stations in the US and Canada.
