1 Money can't buy love and it sounds to me like that is what you younger girls are trying to do. If you have feel you have to buy these expensive gifts to keep your BFs then they aren't worth your time, Hun. Move on and save your money and spend it on your self.

1 Okay why buy your man an expensive gift when he doesn't?

1 Last Christmas I made my boyfriend a small stained glass window. Gifts that you make are gifts from the heart. He loved it. We are still together this Christmas. This year I am making him some pajamas with Snoopy on them. I also got him the Tom Petty CD he wanted. Now I am trying to think of something else. Maybe chapstick... he always loses his.

1 All you little kids know for sure that none of y'all have enough money to get your boyfriends stuff that cost over $200 or a $700 gift certificate for any store. Most of you aren't old enough to even have jobs and some of you probably just got jobs so I dont know why any of you are lying. Kidz Submit by:

1 Instead of making fun of these younger girls, why don't you suggest something they can actually afford? I have some dork ideas because me and my boyfriend are dorks. However, it's all do-it-yourself because that is the kind of girl I am.

  • If your boyfriend is the kind who keeps every little thing that you ever give him, make him a keep-sake box. Personalize it to make it special.
  • If you're looking for something really cute, ask his mom what his favorite childhood book was and get it for him. Write on the inside cover "I adore the boy in you."
  • If you are dorks like me and my guy, get an old shoots and ladders board and some construction paper. Make your relationship memories into a board game and call it something cheesy like "Walk Down Memory Lane."
  • If your guy likes music, go ahead and burn him a CD of songs that remind you of the two of you. Sounds really stupid but he'll love it, trust me.

1 I think the whole idea on buying your boyfriend a really expensvie gift is crazy. I feel tht if you like him or you say you love him, then the price of the gift shouldn't matter! This year, I'm getting my boyfriend a CD and a pair of cute boxers!

1 I was searching for a great gift idea for my BF and I stummbled upon this website... and being 16, I decided to tell all of you that you should not spend that much money on someone who most likely you will not be with for the rest of your life. So, save your money and put it to good use... yourselves! But, I did like your gift ideas - they were pretty cool! And good luck with all your boys. I hope you all are as lucky as myself and find the right man who you will spend forever with!

Of course not! What kinds of people just go through their everyday lives shoving good kids into hard metal lockers? It's not right. I would never associate myself with a group like that. What kind of popular is that, shoving kids into lockers?

Definite red flag; talk about it with him/her/them.  other signs, include: -being doted and adored one day, and the next being pushed away and ignored, -you're afraid of your partner -they obsess over and call/text you constantly -you may find you've lost your confidence -many ups and downs in the relationship, constant roller coaster -you aren't yourself. you change and adapt for them, drop hobbies if they're not into them, etc. -something tells you you cant trust them again, there are many resources out there if you need to talk. never be afraid to speak about it to someone- a family member, a teacher, a close friend, the police, a guidance counselor, etc.  I bolded that one part. The whole thread is great. And that one is a sign. But remember people with mental illness may also show signs like this to. If they have a good they they may spoil you and love you, and then the next day they're having a bad one. So they might push you away. They also may suddenly dote on you one day also to make up for a bad day. I'm not making an excuse, it's still a ver bad thing to do. I'm just putting it out there. that's a good point.
