Becks Having an Affair?
Rumors have been flying all through April 2004 about an alleged affair that David Beckham had with his personal assistant, Rebecca Loos, while playing soccer in Madrid. Becks has denied all accusations but that hasn't stopped Rebecca Loos from becoming one of the most talked about women in Europe. Recently Beckham also scored a deal with Gillette for a whopping £2 million (about $3.6 million US) to be the brand's spokesperson. The Gillette ads featuring David Beckham will be shown all over the world starting right after Euro 2004.
J. Lo's Mom Hits the Jackpot
That's right - Jennifer Lopez's mom, Guadalupe Lopez, was playing the Wheel of Fortune slots in Atlantic City on April 3rd, when she hit the jackpot. J. Lo's mom ended up winning $2.3 million US, which will paid out to her over the next 20 years.
Heather Locklear to Play Hilary Duff's Mom
Former Melrose Place star Heather Locklear has been cast to play Hilary Duff's mom in the flick, The Perfect Man. In the movie, Hilary sets out to find the perfect guy for her single mom. The Perfect Man isn't due out until sometime in 2005.
PETA Targets Beyoncé
The animal rights organization, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, took out a full-page ad in Billboard magazine, asking Beyoncé Knowles to stop wearing fur. The ad shows a dog named Jasmine who accidentally got caught in a fur trap and urges Beyoncé to set a better example for her fans by finding a better fashion alternative to fur.
