Summer Movie Previews

Forget tanning this summer - you'll probably be spending all your time in movie theatres. The new summer movies are enough to make you drool. Whether you're into video games come to life, robots with heart or the walking dead, this summer will have something for everyone.

The Mummy Returns

This is the sequel to The Mummy and it's rising from the dead to a theatre near you on May 4th. Brendan Fraser is back as Rick O'Connell, the dashing hero and mummy slayer - and this time, he's got his hands full. Imhotep has risen again and brought all his nasty undead henchmen with him. Wrestler The Rock makes his movie debut as The Scorpion King, an ancient Egyptian warlord.

Mummies running rampant in London, ancient warlords, curses, lotsa beetles and The Rock - what more do you need?

Tomb Raider

If you're a video game fanatic, you're probably dying to see Tomb Raider. This one stars Angelina Jolie playing video game super-girl Lara Croft - who isn't waiting to see this movie? The storyline is a race against time to keep the Clock of the Ages from falling into the wrong hands. There's action, adventure and lots of Lara. From gunfights in the Croft mansion to fighting robots underground - it's gonna be a trip.

Lara's ready for the action and thanks to super-intense training, so is Angelina. She's rough, buff and she's gonna rock your bigscreen when Tomb Raider opens on June 15th.

If you want drama over action A.I. is for you. 12 year-old Haley Joel Osment stars as David, a robot kid who looks human, feels human, but isn't human. He's living in a future where the icecaps have melted and flooded the world. Robots like him help humans survive. He's trying to find out if he can be anything more than a robot. Haley is an awesome actor and so is his co-star Jude Law.

Catch Haley in A.I. when it comes out on June 29th.

Which one are you itching to see? know!

"Set in the fictional town of Rosewood, Pennsylvania, the series follows the lives of four girls, Aria Montgomery, Hanna Marin, Emily Fields, and Spencer Hastings, whose clique falls apart after the disappearance of their leader, Alison DiLaurentis. One year later, the estranged friends are reunited as they begin receiving messages from a mysterious figure named "A", who threatens to expose their deepest secrets, including ones they thought only Alison knew. At first, they think it's Alison herself, but after her body is found, the girls realize that someone else is planning on ruining their perfect lives." It's based off the book series by the same name and it's these girls that get tormented by "A" and it's like a mystery. You'd probably want to start from the beginning or it'd be hard to understand, it's on Netflix.
