Magic: The Gathering: Ravnica: Theme Deck Reviews
Courtesy of WizardsHere's the scoop on two of the Theme Decks from the Magic: The Gathering: Ravnica set. These are the Charge of the Boros and Dimir Intrigues decks, check out our reviews.
Charge of the Boros Ravnica Theme Deck Review
It's smashing time with the
Red and White Boros Guild! This deck does one thing, slams your opponent hard and fast. It's packed with
cheap creatures and ways to power them up. It also has
Radiance cards that let you hammer your opponent's creatures, or
power up your own. Unfortunately, if your opponent can survive your early attacks, this deck runs out of
firepower and can get stomped flat.
Charge of the Boros Thumbs Up:
Fast-attack creatures.
Great for new Magic players.
Lots of team power-ups.
The deck box holds a deck of cards properly!
Charge of the Boros Thumbs Down:
If you don't win early, you're in trouble.
Your own creatures can be hurt by your Radiance cards.
Charge of the Boros Deck Rating:

Dimir Intrigues Ravnica Theme Deck Review
The Black and Blue
Dimir Intrigues Theme Deck is a weird one. It wins by running your opponent out of
cards! Lots of the cards put cards from your opponent's deck into their graveyard, when their
deck runs out, they lose. Unfortunately, Dimir Intrigues is lacking
powerful creatures and it's tricky to win by running your opponent out of cards. It's a cool idea, but this deck is hard to use.
Dimir Intrigues Thumbs Up:
Good blocking creatures.
Great spells for messing up your opponent.
The deck box holds a deck of cards properly!
Dimir Intrigues Thumbs Down:
Tricky for new Magic players to use.
No strong creatures.
It's hard to run your opponent out of cards.
Dimir Intrigues Deck Rating:
