What starts off as a bedtime story about a pair of spies quickly turns into a real life spy adventure for Carmen (Alexa Vega) and Juni (Daryl Sabara) Cortez. A plot to take over the world is being hatched by the TV star Floop and the malevolent Mr. Lisp. The only way to stop these madmen is for Carmen & Juni's superspy parents to come out of retirement for one last mission.

Before you can say 'Lookout they're gonna get you' the superspy parents blow it and end up locked-up by the diabolical Floop and his twisted minions. The kidz are kick-started into adventure by their Uncle Felix and a team of ninja commandos. One action-packed mini submarine ride later Juni and Carmen are off to rescue their parents, meet their real uncle and play with some of the coolest toys and biggest stars.

Spy Kids is packed from one end to the other with crazy effects and intense action. Everything is rockin', from Floop's fantastic castle, to the Thumb goons and all the super-cool Machete gear. The action is fast, non-stop and totally kicks butt. Big sis Carmen leads the way while Juni stumbles around with his fingers in all the wicked techie toys. The two kidz really give it to the baddies with their mad spymaster skills.

If you haven't seen Spy Kids - Go! Go now - go twice. Make sure you drag your parents along. After all, someone has to buy the X-tra large bags of popcorn.

Rating: (It deserves a 6)
