LEGO Creator: Monster Dino Kit Review

The LEGO Monster Dino kit is three-kits-in-one with remote-control motors and sound! Here’s our LEGO toy review.

It stomps. It roars. It's a LEGO Monster Dino! This massive 792-piece kit lets you build not just one - but three big motorized monsters. There's a tyrannosaurus rex, a crocodile and a giant spider. The dino and the crocodile both have a speaker unit so they roar, unfortunately the speaker is a feeble little thing that sounds more like a dying insect than a powerful monster. All three kits have motors that make them move though! The T-Rex goes forward and back, the spider can turn on the spot and go forward and back (although it doesn't move very well because one motor is stronger than the other). The crocodile has a chomping jaw, as well as going forward and backward. This set is packed with cool pieces, including glow-in-the-dark spines and awesome remote control motors. Unfortunately the speaker is a joke and the three models don't work very well. Is it worth the $90 price tag? Just barely.
