Kirsten Dunst - Her Start
Kirsten started her career with
television commercials when she was just three years old. Kirsten Dunst modeled as a child for the
Eileen Ford Agency. Later, in 1989, Dunst landed her first movie role in a
Woody Allen flick called
New York Stories and made the big move to LA with her family to
pursue acting.
Kirsten Dunst - Big Break
Kirsten Dunst got her big break (or should we say bite?) in 1994's
Interview With A Vampire starring opposite
Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise as a
bloodsucking kid. In 1995, she snagged a
Golden Globe nomination for her role in that movie. Also that year, Kirsten Dunst was named one of People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People. Seven years later, in 2002, Kirsten Dunst was named one of
Teen People magazine's 25
Hottest Stars Under 25.
Kirsten Dunst - Standing Out on the Small Screen
Kirsten Dunst hasn't limited herself to just the
big-screen. Kirsten had a reoccurring role on the hit medical drama
ER and guest-starred on
The Outer Limits. She also did two television movies, Disney's
Tower of Terror and
Ruby Ridge: An American Tragedy.
Kirsten Dunst - Film Highlights
Although you might know her best from teen flicks like
Bring It On,
Crazy/Beautiful,
Spider-man and
Spider-Man 2, Kirsten has branched out a lot in the past few years. She's played oppostie
Jim Carrey, Julia Roberts and a ton of other top actors. In 2006, Kirsten teamed up with
Lost in Translation director Sophia Coppola to play
Marie Antoinette in the film of the same name. She will also star in the upcoming
Spider-man 3.
