I have to admit I just about ran to the theater when Ocean's 11 opened. It was the perfect chance to see all my faves - Brad, Julia, George and Matt - in one flick. And I thought, if this movie was good enough to make them all take pay cuts so they could work together, then it must be a masterpiece.

It's no masterpiece - but it is a pretty good film. If you're a girl, it's worth it for the eye candy alone. And if you're a guy, there is no mushy romantic talk, no crying and no nasty suck-face scenes - so you'll like it too. It's about a convict, Danny Ocean (George Clooney,) who gets out of jail and decides to rob three casinos at once. Realizing it's gonna be a monster job, he rallies his old con-buddies and their friends. Each one has a special skill they can bring to the job - one's an acrobat, one's a remote control car junkie... the list goes on. It's really cool to see how the whole thing comes together.

Ocean's 11 Movie Review

The plot isn't action-packed at all, but relies on some pretty witty, bright and intelligent dialogue. Brad and George - who play Dusty Ryan and Daniel Ocean - are the best together. They work so well off each other's lines that you feel like they aren't lines from a script but that these two are just goofing off and someone forgot to turn off the camera.

Now, I love Julia Roberts (who plays Tess Ocean) but there was no chemistry between her and her onscreeen hubby George or her onscreen boyfriend, Andy (who plays Harry Benedict.) How is it possible not to have instant chemistry with either of these two? Matt Damon gave a great performance as well. He's just got this subtle, confused quality I found totally endearing.

The flick is worth the cash, so go see it. If you've already seen it, what you think. And did anyone else notice Brad Pitt is eating in almost every single scene he's in?
