Sports Couples

Have you ever noticed how singers and actors always to seem to hook up with each other? There's Britney and Justin, Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar... the list goes on. Well in sports, it's no different. Here's a look at some of the sports world's hottest love stories.

From Russia With Love
There could be a new chapter in the Russian love story of Sergei Federov of the Detroit Red Wings and tennis babe, Anna Kournikova. While Anna was missing Wimbledon, she may have been serving some love to Sergei in Moscow where the pair apparently got married. Sergei's mom says it's true while Anna's Dad says it's a load of crap. It's tough to know who to believe since Anna has also been linked to hockey star, Pavel Bure and the Australian tennis player, Mark Philippoussis. For every guy's sake, let's hope Anna is sticking to her single's game.

From Sand Trap to Love Trap
One rumor out there has Tiger Woods and beach volleyball babe Gabrielle Reese being together. This match makes perfect sense. After all, Tiger spends his time knocking golf balls out of sand traps while Gabrielle spikes volleyballs into the sand. Tiger + Gabrielle = Love Trap.

Serving Love
Tennis stars Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf are having a baby together. Imagine the serve and volley game this kid's gonna have. That's why an American millionaire has apparently offered Steffi and Andre $10 million for their first born to play in a tennis tournament in the year 2017.

Iced Love
Bret Hedican and Kristi Yamaguchi have hot love that's almost always on ice. He's a smooth skating defenseman for the Florida Panthers. His wife is former figure skating olympic gold medalist, Kristi Yamaguchi. Ice, Ice, Baby.

It's definitely an American thing - here in Australia we have like no Cheerleaders or Cheerleading groups. I think it's a sport but I'm not really into it. I think any girls or boys can do it. :3

Sure, many girls can fight, in fact some can fight really well, however it is a fact that women are generally physically weaker than men, which means that if a healthy male and a healthy female were to fight then the outcome wouldn't be 50/50 but rather 25/75 if even that much, this assumes that both the male and female have the same experience, training and of course both are healthy. This doesn't mean that women are inferior to men, but I am just pointing out facts, the notion that men and women are exactly the same and should be carrying out the same tasks is ridiculous.
