Mariah Carey will make her movie debut a little later than expected. The pop diva, who recently suffered a mental breakdown and had to be hospitalized, is the star of the upcoming flick Glitter. The movie was supposed to be released August 21, 2001, but has been postponed until September 21, 2001 so Mariah can recover.

Mariah isn't the only pop singer interested in acting. Joey Fatone and Lance Bass of *NSYNC are starring in the upcoming flick On the Line. In it, Lance falls for a chick he sees on the subway train. Super Model Nikki Taylor headed back to the hospital. The model, who was in a life-threatening car accident in April, 2001, was readmitted to the hospital due to "minor complications."
