Bizarre Stuff - Incredible Human Feats

Crazy stuff! Think you got talent cuz you can do the splits? Think again. Check out these 3 unusually gifted people and decide for yourself if theyre true or not. Know which person is made up?

Think you're special cuz you can touch your toes or do the splits? You obviously haven't met Gumby Man. He's not the only one doing some twisted feats. Tom Owen is a human speed bump and Elaine Sherman bleeds tears. Are these guys for real? You decide.

Human Speed Bump

Tom Owen isn't the kind of guy to stand in your way. He's more likely to let you run him over. In fact, on August 20, 1999 Tom was run over by six pick-up trucks and a box van in Palm Dale, California. Not that he's complaining. Tom has been called the human speed bump and it's something he proudly lives up to. He estimates that he's been run over more than a thousand times. To keep in shape, a buddy stands on Tom's six-pack holding weights as heavy as 453 kg (1000 lb.) Then Tom pushes his friend up and down with his stomach muscles.

Elastic Man

Some people in yoga can make themselves look like pretzels by twisting their arms and legs around. But can they do this: Stand straight with both their feet facing the opposite direction? Or bend their knees so their legs go in front of them instead of behind? What about touch both their ears with their toes at the same time? These are only some of the stances Pierre Beauchemin can do. Pierre is so flexible that doctors told him he would be crippled by the time he was 30. This contortion king has astonished crowds and even doctors all over the world. Known as Mr. Gumby, Pierre holds the record for the most elastic man.

Tears of Blood

Crying is something humans can do that animals can't. Some of us won't admit to crying but everyone cries salt water tears. Everyone, that is, except 21 year-old Elaine Sherman. She cries tears of blood. That's right. When she cries (something she's shy about doing in public) blood runs down her cheeks instead of water. Elaine, who lives in Mexico City, hasn't always cried blood. She started crying tears of blood after the death of her father, three years ago. Doctors still can't explain why.

1 I think the "Human Speed Bump" and the "Elastic Man" is real. But "Tears of Blood" isn't. I don't think anybody would ever cry blood. It's just impossible.

1 Definitely the human speed bump. It's just plain impossible, I don't know how it can be. I've seen elastic people, and I know for a fact people cry blood. I've read about tears of blood in a book.

1 The Tears of Blood is possible. I found out from a science book that people can cry blood when they are faced with extreme emotional experiences. And the loss of the girl's father may have caused her to do so. Jesus did as well when he cried blood at the hill. The elastic man might be possble too but I think the human speed bump is fake. No matter how strong your six packs are, it is totally impossible for your bones to be able to endure such weight without breaking it or retaining some major injuries.

By request of @AwesomeIvysaurGirl34 . I will attempt to follow through as much as I can, but I would love some help from YOU, the reader. I will sometimes (often) suffer from writer's block and disinterest! If you enjoy what I've written, even in this short post, encourage me and give me ideas! It's all appreciated, even criticism. I will post as often as I write. A continuation of "The Man in the Coffee Shop", found in the forums.  A few (a lot) entrees are not included  due to laziness. December 7, 1941 Well, they’ve done it. Japan has bombed Pearl Harbor. I’ve been praying for much of the day for the families of those poor soldiers. I’ve been wondering if perhaps I should join the fight, though I might not have a choice soon enough. Drafting is sure to begin soon, as it won’t be long until Roosevelt declares war. It’s only been… what, three years?... and I feel this war has gone on long enough.   January 1, 1942 Happy New Year! Not very happy for me, though. My draft card came in today. I kind of knew it was inevitable, but… a man can hope, can’t he? Have to go pick up my uniforms now. That’s all for today   January 20, 1942 First day of Boot Camp. Yay… It was already the most exercise of my life. We ran a couple miles (I’ve never ran more than one), and I can tell my commander doesn’t like me. Lieutenant Michaels is his name. Been called out more than once by Michaels in front of everyone, and the food’s awful. But there’s this really cute secretary of his that I couldn’t catch the name of, but I already saw all the other recruits goggling at her. Pathetic, ain’t it? Talked to the guys and half of them are married already. It’s around 9:00, though I should say 2100? I think? Military time is confusing. But, the beds are a bit more comfortable than I expected. Actually, I don’t know what I expected. I don’t know the first thing about war, except a few stories from my grandpapy. He did some pretty amazing stuff back in the Great War. That smear right there is my chuckling and disturbing the pen. It’s just, they said the Great War was the “War to end all wars,” and here we are again. There’s nothing new under the sun, and human nature doesn’t change.
