Puzzle Battles in Space

The 2007 Game of the Year, Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, has a sequel! Puzzle Quest: Galactrix takes the gem-matching puzzle battles, drops 'em in space, gives you a ship of your own and challenges you to save the day. Check out these pictures as we bring you more info.

He's no Mouse, he's a Gentleman

The big-eared Despereaux is no normal mouse! He has the heart of a hero, the manners of a gentleman and more bravery than a bucket of lions. His adventures have appeared in the Newberry award-winning "The Tale of Despereaux" book and now it's coming to a theater near you as well as a Despereaux video game! You'll be able to join the fantasy fun on Xbox 360, PS2, Wii and PC this winter.

Zubo!

EA's newest batch of weird block-chracter fun is coming with Zubo! Set in the fantasy worlds of Zubalon with 55 Zubo characers to meet, tons of multiplayer fun and mini-games galore, it's a wacky batch of musical gaming fun. Girl Gaming Icon

One of the biggest girl gamer stars is Rhianna Pratchett - the daughter of world-famous author Terry Pratchett and an award-winning writer on her own. She's the creative brains behind some of the best gaming stories ever told and she's still getting started. EA just announced that Rhianna's working on their upcoming Mirror's Edge video game about Faith, a data courier in the future where the police are suddenly cracking down and it's up to her to figure out why. Not only is Rhianna helping to make this game awesome, it's also a first-person shooter game with almost no guns! Instead, you get mad moves, like you're an Olympic athlete all buzzed on energy drinks. It's a crazy idea and it sounds like a lot of fun.

Rhianna Pratchett is a girl gamer who writes some of the most creative video game stories in the world. Her newest project is EA's Mirror's Edge.
