Help everyones favorite bandicoot and his friends defeat the eeevil Dr. Cortex, in Crash Bandicoot: Mind Over Mutants for the Xbox 360! Heres our game review!

Neo Cortex is back with new plans to take over the world, one brain at a time! Cortex and his evil henchman N.Gin along with the diabolical, not-so-silent partner N.Brio have developed new technology that gives them the power of mind-control! It’s up to Crash and his friends to set things right, one spin jump at a time, across all of Wumpa Island!

What’s a Wumpa You Ask?!

If you’re new to the series, Crash Bandicoot used to be an ordinary South Pacific Bandicoot until the evil genius, Dr. Cortex used an Evolvo-Ray on him. The super-bandicoot promptly refused to do the Dr.’s evil bidding and began working against him instead. This animated adventure game is very well written, working in clever dialogue laced with both wit and sarcasm in a surprisingly entertaining form. Fans of any age can enjoy this great adventure.

Crash and Coco Strike Back!

The single player mode is so well done that we didn’t even need to play anything else, but if you’ve got a friend over the Co-Op Mode makes the game even more fun. It’s so easy to do, drop in and drop out at any time as the second player without affecting the first player’s game or progress in any negative ways. But the fun doesn’t stop there, you can play as several different characters (ie Coco, Carbon Crash) based on what console you’re playing on but the added bonus is that both players are able to switch between one person playing as the magical mask and shoot out ranged projectiles to attack enemies from a distance and even collect valuable Mojo from far away too!

Final Grade!

A+. This is a super game that most players will love; and if you don’t love it you must be having a bad day . With an impressive fun factor, funny characters, fantastically animated environments, puzzles , collectibles, even earning achievements to unlock things like fan art, videos, and new costumes for Crash to wear while exploring the world, this game has an impressive collection of objectives even after you finish the single player story. 100% game completion is a huge milestone that might just surprise you and leave you wanting more.

Thumbs Up:

  • Excellent animation: exploring Wumpa is tons of fun!
  • Funny game script – it’s like being inside a cartoon!
  • Mini-Game Challenges add to an already goodness-packed game
  • Lots of collectibles and puzzle solving to get them!
  • Co-op play is very well done; play with friends and double your fun!
  • Pick up and play! Even non-gamers (aka parents) can pick up a controller and play with you!
  • Don’t just try it, Buy it!

Thumbs Down:

  • We can’t actually think of a thumbs down...
  • OH OH! I know, we can’t do spin jumps like Crash, yea yea, that’s bad!
