Heat Wave

Parts of Australia are used to hot weather, but recent temperatures have been soaring and causing chaos across the country.

The heat wave forced the Australian Open tennis tournament in Melbourne to suspend lots of matches because the players couldn't cope with the heat. Tennis officials had to close the retractable roof over the main stadium.

It's not just the tennis players who have been affected; the heat wave has caused bush fires across the country. Two houses were engulfed in flames in southern Australia, and more than 140,000 homes have been left without power.

Thousands of firefighters are on standby, and health officials are telling people to stay indoors, use air conditioners and make sure they drink enough water.

Although I think a tree stump has more brains than the two of them combined, I would rather have Trump in office. I really dislike the guy, but his ideas are more my taste than Clinton's. He also seems sturdier than she is, mentally I mean (and physically too ofc but that doesn't matter).  I also gained more respect for Donald Trump over the past week or two.  I don't know how many of you are aware, but Louisiana was recently affected by a very bad flood. As natural disasters do, it destroyed housings and people's personal belongings and took lives. The damage to them was nowhere near as bad as that, but some of my family was affected by this flood, which I guess could give me a bit of a bias.    Donald Trump personally went down to Baton Rouge and handed out toys for children, food, and clothes, among other things. He also made a contribution fund to the state's flood relief charity. What did Hillary Clinton do? Go on Jimmy Kimmel and make fun of Trump quotes. Even if it was only to give himself a better name, the fact that he was so generous enough to provide for these poor people when Clinton, and even Obama, did not would definitely earn my vote if I were legal enough to participate in elections (which I hate to say because I don't care for both Trump and politics in general).       Though, I'd rather my cat be president.
