Pinocchio is a classic Disney masterpiece that was first made and shown on the silver screen way back in 1940! And did you know that the story of Pinocchio is actually based on an old Carlo Collodi fairytale about a wooden puppet that wants to become a real boy? Well, now you know – and you can find out even more when you snag this special 70th anniversary 2-disc platinum edition of the film!

The Story of Pinocchio

Basically, Pinocchio is a wooden puppet who is brought to life upon his father’s (Geppetto) wish. But he must prove himself to be a good person before he can become a real little boy. Jiminy Cricket is Pinocchio’s sidekick and his conscience – he is supposed to help prevent Pinocchio from being tempted to do bad things. Pinocchio, unfortunately, meets characters along the way who want to lead him down the wrong path, but he escapes and find that, in order to prove himself good, he has to save his father from the beast, Monstro. Two other friends also join Pinocchio and Jiminy on their adventure – the cats Figaro and Cleo.

I thought it'd be cool for all the anime fans if there was a forum where we could find friends who like the anime we do :) Personally I really need some more friends who like what I do. Maybe you'll find someone who shares your love for something really obscure! Including manga too. To start off here are some favorites of mine: (just because one isn't here doesn't mean I might not like it too so everyone please share yours!) Black Butler D. Gray-Man No.6 Yu-Gi-Oh Seraph of the End Puella Magi Madoka Magica Horimiya Kekkai Sensen Free! Kyoukai no Kanata Tamako Market (especially its movie!!) My Little Monster Mekakucity Actors (and that whole music project that it's based on) Toradora! haven't finished reading/watching but like: (if you like it I'll make it a priority :)) Akagami no Shirayuki-hime Pandora Hearts Kyou Kara Maou Kuroko no Basket Noragami Kiznaiver  Bungou Stray Dogs The World Is Still Beautiful Ajin Haikyuu!! Aldnoah.Zero Princess Tutu That's all I could think of for now! What are yours? Note: No bashing other people's faves! Have debates/flame wars elsewhere. (Especially about Sword Art Online. Let's not even touch that)

Which channel do you think as of today is the best channel for kids today on cable. I would probably go with Disney XD. It's just as good as it was back in 2009 in my opinion and it has a great selection of shows. What do you think is the definitive channel for kids in 2016?
