Lifeguard Dog

A lifeguard dog that was banned from a British beach will be back on duty this summer after hundreds of people signed a petition to get him back.

Normal dogs are banned from some beaches in Britain, but Newfoundland lifeguard dog Bilbo got around that by sitting in his owner's beach buggy during his patrols.

But when officials decided that wasn't safe, Bilbo was banned too.

Now about 1,500 people have signed a petition to get him classed as a working dog to see him back on patrol.

Hi, my name is Austin312so, and I want to talk to all of you about Sohan S. Thandi Foundation. Well there was someone named Sohan S. Thandi, and he was my grandpa who passed away in 2015 September 25 on my parents anniversary. He had cancer, which was spread around his body. He would try to keep it a secret, but sooner we all found out that he had cancer, this cancer was really bad whenever he drank water, it would stay in his body and go straight to his legs and feet and it was swollen. He was a great father, Army Sgt, and also a great grandpa to his grandchildren. He had 7 children, which 6 were girls, and 1 boy. We would meet him every time he'll be really happy to meet us kids.On his last day, he wanted everyone to be happy and don't worry about anything he taught me a lot to be strong and also it made me follow his footsteps and join Army Cadets. I am making this foundation for him and all the children and adults who have cancer to be cancer free. Thank you for listening.
