Imagine if all the bedtime stories you heard came true? When Bobbi and Patrick tell their uncle Skeeter (Adam Sandler) some outrageous tall tales, he lives the adventures the next day! Gumballs rain on his head, he almost kisses a damsel in distress and an angry dwarf kicks him in the shins! Think he can convince the kids to tell a story about him winning a million dollars? Kidzworld checks out Bedtime Stories on DVD to find out!

Forbidden Foods

Skeeter babysits his niece and nephew, but he’s having a rough time. Their mom’s a bit of a health nut and Skeeter’s not a big fan of wheatgerm sandwiches so he makes the kids a feast of cookies, milkshakes and hamburgers, then tucks them in for a bedtime story. The kids tell a story about gumballs and the next day, gumballs rain on Skeeter’s head—just like they did in the story!

Supernatural Stories

Skeeter quickly realizes that what the kids say goes, so he tries to influence the stories, but the kids are wise to him—a story about a guy getting a Ferrari? That’s just boring. When the kids take control of the stories, they come true, but sometimes Skeeter forgets which part he told and which part the kids told and things get messy. Will the supernatural stories help Skeeter in real life, or is it up to him to make the magic happen?

Special Features

On top of the usual outtakes and deleted scenes, the Bedtime Stories DVD gives you three cool features. Until Gravity Do Us Part takes you behind the scenes. Visual effects allow you to create things you wouldn’t be able to make otherwise. In this case it’s an outer space arena inside an anti-gravity dome! To All the Little People is a showcase for Jonathan Heit and Laura Ann Kesling, the sweet kids who play Patrick and Bobbi. Working with Adam Sandler is hard because when Jonathan and Laura have to act seriously, it’s almost impossible not to laugh!
