Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Book Review

Check out Kidzworld's book review of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland!

Author: Lewis Carroll

When I was a kid, I would sit and watch Disney's Alice in Wonderland over and over and over again. I loved the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire cat and the white rabbit. But little did I know, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was 10 times better! Alice encounters other great characters that I had never seen in the Disney movie.

A Timeless Classic

Believe it or not, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was written in 1865, well before Walt Disney was even born, and the story has only gotten better with time. From the second that Alice sees the white rabbit and goes chasing after him, I was captivated. Even though I knew most of the story, it didn't take away from the excitement of Alice tumbling down the rabbit hole or waiting to see if she would shrink or grow from drinking the mysterious liquid in the bottle marked 'Drink Me.'

Each Chapter Brings a New Adventure

Each time I finished a chapter, I was frantically flipping the page to see who Alice would meet next. Alice's Adventure's in Wonderland is almost a collection of short stories with a new setting and a new set of characters for every chapter. However, Alice's adventures eventually bring all the characters together at the very end of the book in the Queen's courtroom.

Everyone Should Read It

Everyone should read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland at least once in their life. No matter what year it is or how old you are, Alice's adventures will never become dull. Lewis Carroll also wrote Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There six years after Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and some of the characters from this book also appear in the Disney movie.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Rating: 5

I am a feminist so i believe women deserve everything that men do and men deserve everything that women do so if a guy can get in trouble so can a girl. Girls are scientifically smarter than boys. Our brains mature much quicker than male brains. And also, we have a better sense of facial recognition and also a better sense of responsibility. This to me means that girls have more mental capabilities than boys do. This means that we are more intelligent. And intelligent does not mean smart. Smart people are really good at math and science and those kinds of things that lawyers, doctors and teachers need to be fitted for their careers. Intelligent people are good at a multitude of things including art(any form) and games. Intelligent people tend to be more creative than smart people. So, UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE!!! I am a feminist too. Yes, we deserve to be treated equally. But, on what basis do you make the argument that girls have better sense of responsibility? And what facts do you have to show that women have more mental capabilities than boys?
