Celebrities probably don't want just anyone inking them when they go for a tattoo. So who are celebrities going to when they want a tattoo? Check out these well-known and very talented tattoo artists who've inked celebrities.

Jonathan Shaw

Jonathan Shaw has been tattooing for a long time and is a familiar name to anyone interested in tattoos. He's had several music icons under his needle including The Cure, David Lee Roth, Vanilla Ice and Marilyn Manson. Johnny Depp has had more than half of his six tattoos done by Jonathan. Other celebrities tattooed by Jonathan Shaw include Iggy Pop and supermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss.

Jonathan was born in New York City which is where he runs two tattoo parlors both named Fun City Studio. One is a private studio and another studio is run by three other tattoo artists. Jonathan had a small speaking role in Tightrope, a Clint Eastwood movie. His character was (surprise) a tattoo artist.

Paul Timman

Paul Timman works for Sunset Strip Tattoo, one of the biggest tattoo shops in Hollywood. Many of Hollywood's stars have left this studio, looking a lot more colorful than they did when they walked in. Some of Paul's clients include Mark Wahlberg, Pamela Anderson, Ben Affleck, Melanie Griffith, Angelina Jolie, Nicolas Cage and Kiefer Sutherland.

Paul sits in his shop for up to 12 hours a day at his needle machine. He's usually inking hearts or skulls, Japanese symbols and Latin messages. When he's not working, Paul likes to road race motorcycles and even has his professional racing license. He does admit that he's good at ending up in the crash section.

Kevin Quinn

Kevin Quinn is another tattoo artist from the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California. He's a legend among musicians and to anyone who knows anything about tattoos. The Cult has also gone to Kevin to get some ink done. Other celebs Kevin has left his mark on include Julia Roberts, Sporty Spice (Melanie C) and the 80s band, Guns N' Roses.

The worst tattoo anyone can get, according to Kevin, is any girl's name that isn't your Mom's. The strangest tattoo he's been asked to do is Bart Simpson (maybe he's not a fan.) Kevin's shop used to be THE place to get tattooed but he put his ink and gun away so he could spend time as a guitarist for the rock band, American Pearl.

Favoritism is hard like if your parents buy something expensive for your sister's birthday like a Wii or guitar or something. And you just got $50.00 or a Nintendo DS , that's showing more favoritism to your sister because your parents got her something more expensive that they couldn't afford. I think your parents are teaching you and your siblings to toughen up when you or your siblings get something more expensive or valuable. I deal with that all the time. So I just man up. Or as my dad says it "MAN UP CUPCAKE!!!!!!!!!!"

This is true, and it may not help everyone, but at least they'll give it a shot. It's for people not to harm themselves, and yes, there are other ways not to cut, or anything like that, but here's one solution out of many.
