That's a great list of ideas. But on your perfumes and cologne thing--I've heard you can also make perfumes by boiling flower petals in water? Maybe that's something to experiment with. Possibly orange peels, too. My mother boils them often to either make orange peel candy or to provide a pleasant scent to float through the house. There's another idea there, too: Make orange peel candy and give it to people. It has a large amount of sugar involved, though. Basically, you boil orange peels until they're real soft, and then take them out (with some sort of utensil; you don't want to burn yourself!). Then, you make sure you have a plate with a thick layer of sugar on it (a bowl works, too), and dip the orange peels in it, until they are completely coated with sugar. Next, if you want, wait for them to harden. It's a bit of a strong taste, but it's nice at the same time.
