Everyone’s favourite Krabby Patty employee is back in Spongebob’s Truth or Square, the latest Spongebob Squarepants game for Wii. Take control of Spongebob as you search for the secret Krabby Patty recipe that you misplaced before the Krabby Patty anniversary celebrations come to a close and don’t forget to watch out for Plankton trying to beat you to it.

He lives in a Pineapple

The game begins in Spongebob’s Pineapple home and takes you all over Bikini Bottom, collecting tokens and making Spongebob happy to restore his memory. Shake the nunchuk to turn into a slammin’ spatula, collect power ups to turn into a hammer, a strong-man or an invincible Spongebob followed by a rainbow trail and bright happy music.

Under the Sea

Get together underwater with one of your friends in the two player mode! Having the whole adventure accessible for two players is a nice touch and certainly increases the longevity of the game and if you’re a gamer under the age of 10 with Spongebob Squarefanatics for friends, the lot of you will surely spend hours exploring Spongebob’s underwater environs.

Spongebob Squarepants

Is this a pair of Squarepants worth wearing? Certainly older gamers familiar with the platforming genre will see nothing new here and unless they are die-hard Spongebob collectors are probably best off getting their platforming fix elsewhere. Spongebob enthusiasts and younger gamers will find plenty to love here, as the game is very playable and the bright, colourful graphics are a nice cheery departure from many of the more mature platforming games; though Spongebob’s frequent and often recycled lines of dialogue will quickly tire on any gamer.
