What is this you ask? The Air Hogs R/C Zero Gravity Laser takes a new spin on traditional remote-control vehicles. Instead, it uses a laser to “control” or “guide” its companion toy vehicle. And if you think this car sticks to the floor, better thing again!

Using Space

Get ready for the ultimate R/C vehicle that can quite literally drive you up the wall (well, it drives itself up the wall – but you get to control it!). Reading the package, it seems the car does this through vacuum suction – which means it should even be able to drive upside-down across ceilings.

To guide the vehicle up walls and upside down with zero regard for gravity, just point the laser pointer and the car will literally chase the beam of light wherever you take it. Another bonus feature of the Air Hogs R/C Zero Gravity Laser is that the vehicle glows in the dark, for cool night-riding moves!

Thumbs Up

  • Drives over, across and up any surface – even upside-down!

  • Thumbs Down

  • Kind of loud – you may find yourself hating the noise after a couple of days
  • Needs six AA batteries to work – and you have to provide them yourself.

How Often Do You Use Remote Controls?

    • I can't live without them.
    • Quite often - they're so handy.
    • Once in a blue moon.
    • I never use remotes - they're for couch potatoes.
