Top Five Denim for Spring 2010

If you're like us, your closet is positively bursting with denim. But how do you update for spring? One of the hottest trends this season is wearing denim on denim but if you don't want to take the cowgirl look too far, there are some fun and easy updates you can add to your wardrobe so you can look up-to-date and on trend without looking like a fashion victim.

Whether you favour denim skirts, ripped denim cut-offs, vests or just even, gulp, overalls, there are loads of different styles to choose from.

Here are our picks for the top ten denim items - have a look and enjoy!

Forever 21 Trista Frayed Denim Short $22.80

These denim cut-offs are just distressed enough to look cool. There's a fine line between distressed and just plain raggedy looking and this little number from Forever 21 does that perfectly. All with a cute little turn-up cuff so they can be easily paired with tights on cool nights.

Hollister Dixon Lake denim vest $49.50

This denim vest from Hollister is a wardrobe star in the making! Easily paired with floral skirts and dresses, patterned leggings or casually thrown over a long baggy t-shirt and black leggings – it adds just a little bit of casual cool to any outfit!

American Apparel Natural Denim Circle Skirt $45.00

Forget those old tired denim skirts for now and update with something in a cute shape and colour! Coloured denim is a little nod to the 90s but new shapes like this little circle skirt from American Apparel keeps it fresh and trendy!

Bluenotes Grey Tie Dye skinny jeans $39.50

Are these jeans tie-dyed or just super-ripped? The best part is that you can't really tell until you get up close and personal. These are funky enough to get everyone asking – where did she get those JEANS (from Bluenotes)??!!

Forever 21 Stitched Denim Overall $24.80

How cute are these?! Overalls are making a big comeback for spring, you heard it here first! Over a stripey shirt for a nautical look or just over a crisp white t-shirt, the more accessories you pile on these simple overalls (these ones come from Forever 21), the better!!

Hi Jaera!      sisihastwobunnies is right. It's perfectly fine for you to have a crush, but you're a little young for a "love life." Don't worry though! Someday, if it's meant to be (Ha ^-^) you'll find the one who's just right for you. Until then, it's great to have good guy friends -and in years to come if one of those friendships develop into something more, then props to you (:  Future advice: You have to understand that feelings aren't always mutual. You may like someone and they'll see you only as a friend -or vice versa.  THIS IS OKAY.  It may hurt, but that's just proof that you'll have to move on. Something better is ahead,  you simply haven't gotten there yet (: Having patience can be hard, but it's worth it. Good luck! -And I hoped this helped!                                    Wishing you the best,                                             american_brit ^-^
