Ben 10 Alien Force: Volume 6 :: DVD Review

Ben 10 Alien Force: Volume 6 is absolutely, totally, amazingly awesome. Seriously, whether or not you’re a huge fan of the show, this DVD, which includes four explosive episodes of Ben 10 Alien Force is a true showstopper!

Intro

Teenager Ben Tennyson’s Omnitrix lets him transform into any one of 10 super-powered aliens. With his energy-manipulating cousin Gwen and his metal-absorbing pal Kevin, Ben fights against a sinister threat known as the Highbreed, which have a mysterious plan in the works. With the plan revealed, Ben and his friends have only one chance to stop it, but they can't do so by themselves. They're going to need an entire alien force to fight alongside them.

Episode 23: Birds of a Feather

While in his Spidermonkey persona, Ben encounters an alien from Spidermonkey's home world, who asks for Ben's help in dealing with a cosmic crisis. As our heroes travel to the moon, they discover this alien and his worries might not be what they appear.

Episode 24: Unearthed

A childlike but super-strong alien shows up, wreaking havoc around town. While Ben and Kevin believe it's a monster, Gwen is able to reach its innocent side. The DNAliens, servants of the Highbreed, also have an interest in the creature, and their motives aren't innocent at all.

Episode 25 & 26: War of the Worlds, Pt. 1 & Pt. 2

The Highbreed have stepped up their plans, with an armada of battleships about to invade the Earth. It's too vast of a problem for Ben to handle on his own, so it's time to assemble the titular alien force and let the final battle commence.

So why do we love Ben 10 Alien Force: Volume 6 so much? For starters, it includes more excitement, action, humor and surprise than your brain can handle! These episodes are epic, and together they build up to something huge. Plus, seeing so many characters (many from past episodes) show up at once is really satisfying. Each returning character has a story to tell, and each gets a moment in the spotlight, which is very cool. The animation is awesome and the action scenes are spectacular. Trust us, you’re gonna want to get your hands on this DVD!
