2010 Pokémon Video Game Championship Contest
Pokémon video game players ages 6 and up will gather in seven cities across America this spring to battle it out with their prized Pokémon teams for a chance to play in the National and World Championships later this summer. Kidzworld is giving a reader a chance to win a guaranteed entrance spot into ONE qualifying tournament from the schedule below of his / her choice. The event is a first-come, first-serve scenario for all others wishing to attend. Additionally, the winner will receive a prize package including the brand new top-selling version of either the Pokémon HeartGold Version or Pokémon SoulSilver Version released last month for the Nintendo DS™ family of hand-held systems. The top 16 players in two age groups (Juniors: born in 1998 or later and Seniors: born in 1997 or earlier) from each tournament will win an invitation to play at the Pokémon Video Game National Championships in Indianapolis on June 26 and 27. Top finishers from Nationals will get an invitation to compete at the Pokémon Video Game World Championships in Hawaii August 13-15 where they could earn travel packages, trophies, and special Pokémon prize packages – not to mention a chance to meet Pikachu in person!
