The Necromancer, is the fourth (and newest) book in The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel series by author Michael Scott. It comes out on May 25, 2010. Check out our review of this latest and greatest novel in a series we bookworms here at Kidzworld just can’t put down!

Fantastic Fantasy

The three books that have already been released in this series are: The Alchemyst, The Magician and The Sorceress. Now you can add the addition of The Necromancer to the series that travels the globe, exploring the idea that different belief systems (religions) and mythologies (legends) seem to have the same circumstances, villains and heroes – even though they all CLAIM to be different? If you’ve ever wondered about that, or imagined what it would be like if all of those “mythological” villains and heroes actually existed in a secret world or realm? If so, you’ll love The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, in which main characters Josh and Sophie (twins from San Francisco) go on a whirlwind adventure that’ll change their lives forever …

Action Adventure

The Necromancer is a non-stop adventure from page one! Whether you’re a guy or girl, you’ll love joining Josh and Sophie as they travel around the world, from San Fran to Alcatraz to London, meeting some of the most famous figures from history and mythology (who are just as noble or nasty as you thought they’d be!). With every page turn and twist in the story, another villain or hero is waiting to leap out at you.

Movie in the Making

As rumor has it, Michael Scott’s series is going to be made into a movie some time in 2012. In the meantime, you can entertain yourself by reading the books (there will be six in the series in total, so two more to go!) and visiting the The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel website, which provides a whole lotta fun for fans.

i dont like where this is going. Sure you can make it safer, but for every few people who die during it, there is a whole family mourning the loss of that child and its mother. What will happen if Abortion isnt illegial? Nothing good. i know that much

My opinion is that  Its not really any one elses business and so long as its within the law then the person who is pregnant should have the legal right and decide  based on their morals and beliefs.

You wouldn't be here saying abortion is right. SO what if its "safe"? THERE IS NO SAFE ABORTION! Sometimes, the mother gets killed because some of the stuff got into her. Sometimes the mother would have still been alive if she hadn't aborted her kid.  So think about THAT abortion supporters You're right, if I was aborted I wouldn't be here talking to you, what's your point? Is that supposed to resonate with me?  We can make it as safe a process as possible. It's a dangerous procedure like any medical procedure and surely some small amount of people will die just like some number of planes will crash, but we can minimize that number. Outlawing abortion isn't the same as stopping abortion. In fact, outlawing it only makes it more likely that the woman will die in the process.
