To the girl with the big blue eyes,
That left the world in the flash of an eye,
I will see you once again but in a distant, far away land,
Everyone loved you, everyone cared. You had so much to share,
They tried to help but they were too late,
You just let your pain escape,
At least you didn't suffer; you didn't have to cry,
It happened so fast, you just had to die.
Why didn't you buckle up? You ask yourself that.
The car came crashing down and that was that.
Buried in pajamas, you are just asleep now,
I start to weep Corie, that girl with the big blue eyes,
Left this world in the flash of an eye,
You didn't suffer, you didn't cry,
It happened so fast, the lord let you die.
But now you're with him, happy and lovely,
The way you were always.
To Corie, the girl with the big blues eyes,
You just had to die, had to go to the sky.
