Signs Movie Review

Signs Movie Review - Reviewed by Kidzworld on Dec 27, 2006

Check out the Kidzworld review of this summer 2002's hot movie Signs starring Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix!

Imagine waking up one morning to find crop circles in your backyard. Is it a hoax? Or could aliens be invading? Earth gets invaded in this summer's hot, new flick Signs, staring Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix. Signs won't have you screaming hoax at all! It's freaky enough to make a believer of any skeptic.

The story revolves around a Pennsylvania farm family who discover crop circles in their corn fields. It turns out these circles are appearing all over the earth at the same time. The movie starts off slow, and it's not very exciting while you try to figure out who's who. At first, the possibility of it being a hoax is ruled out. Aliens are the last and only logical explanation for the formations.

Abigail Breslin plays the role of a cute five year-old girl with a strange disorder that makes her think water is contaminated. (Hint, hint.)

Don't be totally freaked, the movie has a ton of funny scenes too - like Joaquin Phoenix and the kids making helmets to avoid having their brains read or finding out baby monitors tune into the aliens' communication station. This flick has enough laughs, screams and aliens to make it totally out of this world!

I thought it'd be cool for all the anime fans if there was a forum where we could find friends who like the anime we do :) Personally I really need some more friends who like what I do. Maybe you'll find someone who shares your love for something really obscure! Including manga too. To start off here are some favorites of mine: (just because one isn't here doesn't mean I might not like it too so everyone please share yours!) Black Butler D. Gray-Man No.6 Yu-Gi-Oh Seraph of the End Puella Magi Madoka Magica Horimiya Kekkai Sensen Free! Kyoukai no Kanata Tamako Market (especially its movie!!) My Little Monster Mekakucity Actors (and that whole music project that it's based on) Toradora! haven't finished reading/watching but like: (if you like it I'll make it a priority :)) Akagami no Shirayuki-hime Pandora Hearts Kyou Kara Maou Kuroko no Basket Noragami Kiznaiver  Bungou Stray Dogs The World Is Still Beautiful Ajin Haikyuu!! Aldnoah.Zero Princess Tutu That's all I could think of for now! What are yours? Note: No bashing other people's faves! Have debates/flame wars elsewhere. (Especially about Sword Art Online. Let's not even touch that)
