my sister found out she got diabetes on her 12 bday and she took the day off of school but she came back and her friends treated her lik nothing ever happened then when she went into middle school she showed her best friend how to use a pump just in case

I can imagine how hard it can be but the faster you will talk with them, the less pain you will feel. Of course it all depends on what kind of parents you have but don't give up just because they are religious. I know many people who are strongly religious but also open-minded.
