Family Game Night used to mean breaking out the old board games and sitting around the dining room table with your mom, dad and bratty little brother. Today, it means powering up your Xbox 360 and having some interactive fun courtesy of Family Game Night 3 by EA and Hasbro!

Five Fun Games

Family Game Night 3 comes with five great games:

    1. CLUE
    2. LIFE
    3. Yahtzee Hands Down
    4. Mouse Trap
    5. Twister

CLUE’s always a classic; so are The Game of LIFE, Yahtzee and Mouise Trap. But when we got this game for review here at Kidzworld HQ, we were really excited to test out Twister. Think about it – Twister is a totally physical game. How would EA and Hasbro manage to translate that big polka-dotted mat onto our TV screen…?

    Twister Dance Moves

…Well, we figured out how Twister works on an Xbox. Basically, it’s a new spin on the classic game that has you tapping out dance moves in order to win the game. We also discovered how this Family Game Night is different from earlier versions. It’s set in an amusement park, with each of the five games being a separate attraction. Mr. Potato Head acts as your guide. As you progress through the games, you gain rewards that can help you do things like unlock costumes for Potato Head. You also get to play as your own avatar, which is cool.
