Bruno Mars was born Peter Gene Hernandez on October 8, 1985 and wanted to be a musician from a young age. His musical idols were Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson - both gifts musicians who also had a strong sense of style! Check out the video for his hit song "Just the Way You Are" !
After Bruno finished high school in Hawaii, he moved to Los Angeles right away to pursue his career in the music industry. His debut album was released in October 2010, “Doo-wops & Hooligans”, and went to number 3 on the Billboard 200 charts! When Bruno performs onstage and attends parties and events, he always wears his signature trilby style hat. We would love to see his hat collection - he seems to have one for every occasion!
Not only does Bruno love to wear hats, he also loves to work the plaid shirt. Worn with jeans, vintage look t-shirts and under leather and denim jackets - plaid is a wardrobe staple for Bruno. He doesn’t shy away from bolder plaid prints - the brighter the better to perform on stage! Bruno never fails to accessorize with his hats and cool thick frame glasses. We love his geek chic style!
