What sorta footwear are you gonna be shooting hoops in this fall? From the newest kicks by KG to the latest sneakers from T-Mac, Kidzworld has a look at this year's hottest basketball shoes.

And One - KGII and KG Select
The KGII basketball shoe from And One is the footwear of choice for Minnesota Timberwolves' go-to guy, Kevin Garnett. The follow up to last year's KG Low comes in white and navy and will be hitting stores on November 15, 2002. You may have already seen the commericals for the KGII. They show Kevin Garnett being interrogated in a dark room and being asked why he couldn't get the T-Wolves out of the first round of the NBA playoffs. Expect to pay around $100 US.

If your feet are a bit smaller, you may want to step into the KG Select Basketball Shoes for Kids from And One. These shoes are also named for KG and come in black and silver. They cost around $89.99 US. For more on And One, head to the company's official site.

Reebok Big Kids Answer V Mid DMX
The shoes named for Allen Iverson have a ghile lacing system up the front for extra comfort and support. The Answer V Mid DMX have a mid-cut for ankle support and come in white, silver and red. They cost around $85 US but they don't guarantee you'll have a crossover dribble like Allen's. Check 'em out at www.reebok.com.

The Adidas T-Mac 2
You may see chaos at the shopping mall when these shoes come out on November 1, 2002. The T-Mac 2, named for Tracy MacGrady, are blue and black to match his Orlando Magic colors and have a mesh bootie that gives a great fit. The T-Mac 2 costs around $100 US. You can check them out at www.adidas.com.

Nike Kid's Air Jumpman J Madness/Air Jordan IX Retro Low
The Air Jumpman J Madness is another great basketball shoe in line of footwear named for basketball's greatest player. This shoe comes in red and white. You can also get them in black and silver at Footaction stores only.

If your feet are adult-size, try the Air Jordan IX Retro Low. This low cut b-ball shoe is based on the original Air Jordan IX and comes in white and chrome or white and blue. They cost around $115 US.

I'm ten.  And almost any trick in the book.  I can do no foot and no hands at the same time, can do over 200 jumps, can go up and down a curb, can go off a curb with no hands, and can do the twister.  Although, today I'm having a mental block with the twister. xD    Oh yeah, and I forgot like the jump within a jump, and the split jump.

Yeah, I guess so.  But I doubt without persuasion they would get me one.  Those things are a parent's nightmare.  (Lost teeth, broken arm, etc. xD) True, true. Maybe you can make a deal with them? Like, "If I get all A's by the end of the school year can i get this pogostick?" or "If I do yardwork for the next *blah blah blah* weeks can I get this pogostick?" You can butter 'em up before you ask too.   I'm homeschooled. :P
