Taylor Bright Bio

Artist Taylor Bright shot to stardom with her online single Striped Socks. Learn more about this talented singer-songwriter in her Kidzworld bio!

Seventeen-year-old Taylor Bright grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The singer/songwriter had a love for performance art from an early age, and always knew she would be a star. Taylor was only 10 when she started acting and 12 when she started writing her own music. She got her start in musical theatre, including stints on the cross-country tours of Annie Warbucks, 13: The Musical and Carousel. During this time she also filmed a couple commercials.

Striped Socks

In high school Taylor recorded her own song called ‘Striped Socks’. She put it online and the rest is history. Her song went viral, garnering praise from kids all across the country. The song even made it onto the Billboard’s dance charts. Check out the music video below:

Psycho

Taylor has been extremely busy this past year, graduating from high school and working on her first EP. The already released single off the album is called ‘Psycho’, and has a pop/dance flavor to it. Although Taylor will be attending college this year she will also be promoting her new album with an American tour. Listen to Taylor’s new song and let us know what you think!

If I had to make simple choice, I'd prefer to live in It's Kind of a Funny Story simply for the people who were held in it. Despite the location setting for the story, I feel as if I could very easily fall for the characters all over again, especially in an even more personal matter. But, of course, if I was  going with a straight up fantasy like everyone seems to be, I'd most likely go with a world like Dorthy Must Die series or Alice in Wonderland. Both being these magical worlds filled with quirky creatures and people, so how could you get bored? Oh, and of course let us not forget the plenty of harrowing fight scenes for freedom from the evil queens and her many brainless followers.

I would live in The Outsiders because it's a classic book. I would love to go on adventures with the gang and read books and watch movies with Ponyboy. (Because I too always believed I was the only one who enjoyed them.) I would love to open up to Johnny because he is such a kind hearted soul.
