Sep 20, 2011

Dianna Agron became an overnight sensation for playing Quinn Fabray on Glee. Find out more in her Kidzworld bio!

Dianna Agron plays the bubbly blonde cheerleader Quinn Fabray on Glee. But, she wasn’t always a star. Dianna was born in Savannah, Georgia, where she got an early start in dancing. By the age of three she was already enrolled in dance classes. She trained in ballet, jazz and hip hop. Dianna also took an interest in community theatre, acting in many musicals in her hometown.

TV Talent

After high school Dianna decided she wanted a career in acting. She started to work on commercials and got recurring roles on Veronica Mars and Heroes. She appeared in three episodes of Veronica Mars (starring Kristen Bell) and four episodes of Heroes. During this time she also appeared in an MTV mini-series called It’s a Mall World. The show was created for the clothing store American Eagle and featured the lives of several mall employees.

Showtunes

In 2009 Dianna Agron got the role of a lifetime when she was cast as Quinn Fabray on the new show Glee. The series follows a group of high school students who band together to form a singing group (also called a glee club). Dianna plays Quinn, a perky cheerleader who is easily the most popular girl at school. During the first season she gets tangled in a love triangle with her boyfriend Finn and his best friend Puck.

Movie Magic

Since she started on Glee, Dianna has gotten roles in several hit movies. She appeared alongside Christina Aguilera and Cher in Burlesque and in the sci-fi thriller I Am Number Four. In 2013 she will most likely be appearing in Through the Fence, a movie about a group of friends whose lives change after one of them is found dead (sound like Pretty Little Liars?).
