2011 NFL Preview

Sep 20, 2011

NFL football is already two weeks into its season ... and it’s intense! Wanna get into the action but not sure who to cheer for? Well, you can always cheer for the home team, but if you happen to live in Seattle, where it doesn't look like the Seahawks will be winning another football game for years to come, you might want to check out some other teams ...

Good Luck Lions

The new team on the block is the Detroit Lions. The Lions have never even been to the Super Bowl, nevermind... they haven’t even been to the playoffs in this millennium.  But, they are finally living up to their names and seeking to be kings of the jungle this year.  They are 2-0 and coming off their biggest win ever beating the Kansas City Chiefs 48-3.

Brady is Best

The New England Patriots have the most lovable player in the NFL. His name is Tom Brady and he is looking so amazing right now that he might break all the Quarterback records in NFL history. In 2 games this year, he has already thrown for 940 yards!!! Let Santa know that you want a #12 Pats jersey for Christmas!

The Pack is Back

OK, so the best team in the NFL is the Green Bay Packers... again. The Pack will probably win another Super Bowl this year, but c’mon... cheering for the Packers is like cheering for Goliath against David... like rooting for King Kong as he crushes everyone beneath his feet... like laughing as your older brother terrorizes your little sister. But if you are from Green Bay, you sure are lucky... Aaron Rodgers will be there for a while and he’s looking good, real good!
