Crush3D, Wakfu Open Beta, and King Arthur II: The Role-Playing Wargame!

Jan 10, 2012

Well, it's the new year and it seems like video game releases are still on holiday. This week was supposed to see the launch of the Batman-themed game Gotham City Imposters, but it has been pushed back, along with a few other games. However, if you are interested, Gotham City Imposters is now in beta for your testing, as well as another game, Wakfu, which we will be previewing this week!

Crush3D

The cleverly titled Crush3D is a puzzle game remade for the Nintendo 3DS. The original game, Crush, came out for the PSP in 2007 and did pretty well. In the game, you must switch back and forth between 3D and 2D views, similar to Super Paper Mario, so that you can navigate the levels and collect multi-colored marbles. The 3D view will no doubt make good use of the 3DS's 3D graphics.

Wakfu

Produced by Square-Enix, the same company that brought you Final Fantasy, Wakfu is a massively multiplayer online tactical RPG that is played out in a world filled with adorable and powerful creatures. You can take on the role of various classes, such as healer, animal summoner, plant summoner, time mage, and shadow assassin and fight in turn-based battles alone or with a group. One of the big interesting features of the game is the world ecology, which fluctuates depending on how much people plant or reap. Currently, the game is still in open beta for the PC, but you can visit their website and join in for free!

King Arthur II: The Role-Playing Wargame

This is the sequel to the 2009 real-time strategy/RPG hybrid game for the PC. Take on the role of King Arthur himself and command your knights of the round table to expand and defend your kingdom.
