EVEN THOUGHT HE'S UR FRIEND U SHOULDNT HELP HIM CHEAT
Even though he is your friend he have to tell him off. Yes he is your friend but what you are doing is not right! Just simply tell him "Listen I know we are friends and all but I don't think we should cheat. It is not fair to us, and it is not fair to the rest of the class that works hard. If we get caught it out come is not going to be good. So we should just stop, I know you don't want to get in trouble, and I don't either. So we need to just stop."
Just tell them that it is not the right thing to do because if you get caught both of you get in trouble so keep your paper covered and just tell them no!!!!

Just tell him the truth. It may be hard but it will help him, not just you. He wont get anywhere in life getting all the anwsers from other people. when he does have to go on his own one day, he wont know anything. if you told him it would be best...so what are you waiting for.....go ahead!! 
lol grow up, aint no big deal cuz i copy all tha tyme from the nerds nearby nd they dont rilly care so be lyke them 
that happened to me to so now i get something to cover my test
you kno this has to me before and a girl just moved to my school at the middle of crct and she ate my snacks and copied off me when we were doing the test. so u kno im ot a snitch rite?? so i asked the teatcher after school if she could stand by desk during the crct and she said yes. so the next day the girl was copying off my paper and the teatcher suspeneded her when she caught her. i was sad but happy at the same time but my revenge was plotted. 
Yeah that happened to me my friend megan tries to copy when i say no she does it anyway and i cant tell the teacher because tattleing makes me feel guilty. 
One other thing. Your not alone. This happened to me and the teacher DID NOT HELP me AT ALL. So all I did was ask to take the quiz in the media where noone was taking the quiz.
