Rocksmith: PC Game Review

Rocksmith: PC Game Review - Reviewed by Kidzworld on Nov 01, 2012

Its been a long year, but Rocksmith for PC is finally out! Play on any guitar and learn or record! Check out our game review for the details!

Rocksmith is a rhythm game similar to Guitar Hero and Rockband. However, you can only play this game with a real guitar! After you learn and mastered the songs in the game, you can take your guitar and plug it into a real amp and play to impress your friends and family! The game has already been out for the XBox 360 for almost a year, but now you can finally plug and play on your computer!

Play with a Real Guitar!

Rocksmith works with any guitar with a 1/4" output jack. You can buy the full packaged game, including a guitar, for $179. The guitar plugs into an adapter for the game console and all your strums and plucks are picked up by the game.

The game itself is designed to teach and train beginners. Anyone can pick up and play the game immediately, the difficulty is automatically adjusted by the game to suit your level. Most beginners will begin on a single string with the traditional five frets. Eventually you can advance to chords and more!

Campaign, Mini-Game, and Amp Mode

The main mode is campaign mode, where you take your character to stardom. Amp mode is a freeplay mode where you can just jam and use various pedal and amp settings to get different sounds and effects. The mini-games included in Rocksmith are super fun and educational as they train you in the basics of the guitar with games similar to Space Invaders, Dr. Mario and more.

Stumbling Blocks

A lot of the flaws from the original Rocksmith on the Xbox 360 have been fixed. You can now adjust your mastery by hand and you can also choose to remove notes and play songs from memory. Overall, however, Rocksmith is a great teaching program and does well to start players on the journey of becoming a guitarist.

Athena would be the one to bring the young boy into real life as a gift to her daughter. His eyes are dark, dark grey that often are filled with thunder and lightning. His hair is dirty blonde, with a few dyed purple streaks. He often is attacked by mystical monsters, but his true passion is Duel Monsters, his advanced and logical approach earning him many a win. He prefers to have a plethora of options that allow him to always keep his opponent on their toes. He prefers to journey along side his father to tournaments, but he spends a few months each year at Camp Half-Blood to learn more about his grandmother and her family.

Ooh, this would be a girl who kind of has some human traits but she's mostly gem. Stevidot's outfit would be a star tank top and denim shorts. The hair would be brown with green tips and Stevidot would be way more flexible. She would be pretty kind but has a flair for amazing comebacks. Of course. She would have the ability to summon a Metal Spiked Shield to use for both attacks by impaling and defense because it's a shield. Finally, she'd be amazing at technology, gem history, and Earth traditions. Yami from Yu-gi-oh and Annabeth from Percy Jackson (Yamibeth)
