Spring Lip Trends 2013

Mar 20, 2013

We are so over winter! Get into the swing of things by getting ready to update your makeup look with spring's hottest new lip trends! From hot pink lips to shades of matte orange, we're so ready for a beauty breath of fresh air. The best thing about makeup is that you screw up or change your mind about a colour, you can always wash it off and something else. Check out our top tips for spring 2013 lip trends

Pretty In Pink

This spring, pink is everywhere! It's a big trend for spring but this isn't your regular pink. It's neon, it's hot pink and fuchsia. Meant to totally pop, it's not the faint-hearted but makes a big bold impact! Give it a chance and try a shade - it takes a bit of getting used to but once you do you'll never want to go back! Put on a bold shade and then blot spring's hottest trend.

Go Pale

Think sugary shades of baby pink and lilac! Look for formulas that are super glossy. Slick some lipstick on and then add some clear gloss on top for an easy look that will go perfect with spring's cool shades of pastel. Keep the rest of your face nude with minimal makeup to get the look.

Matte Orange

The new orange and coral for this spring is matte and gorgeous! Go for a super bright shade (no shimmer) and then blot it until you get a matte stain. This is such a pretty summery look and is very on trend this season. Don't be afraid of orange - there's a shade out there to match every skintone!

The simple truth is, makeup is not for everyone. Some prefer is, some do not. But, you also need to keep in mind that wearing it, is a self-choice. If you are uncomfortable with wearing makeup and would prefer to wear none, then so be it. That is your decision, not someone elses. End of story.

Having the incapability of being able to maintain a friendship can usually be a personal-self issue. Normally held within how a person carries themselves around others or how they behave. But, at the same time, a friendship runs both ways. If the person on the other end of the friendship is not putting in effort to continue the friendship or being there in times of needs, there could be a possibility that they are the problem. Not you. Your problem could possibly not even lay within you, you could also be in a place where you're not able to get along with or have enough in common with those around you to be able to either have or even continue a relationship for a decent to long period of time. Your best option may be a new change of surroundings. Both environmental and your choice of people.
