How do u beat the dog spirits?

Hey Cute Shy Boy,

Those dog spirits in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets are a pain! The thing is, they're vulnerable to bright lights - like your Lumos spell.

What you can do is cast Lumos, it makes a cone of really bright light in front of you. If you look, you can see it. Then you have to get really close to the dogs and shine the light on them. It takes a couple of seconds to hurt them, but it works!

Don't forget to hit the bushes with Flipendo for health power-ups so the dogs don't beat you.

Where do I find Fred and George's store after my arrival to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?

Heya Gwen,

It's not that hard to find Fred & George's shop in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets! To get to it, head to the 7th floor of Hogwarts and through the painting of the Fat Lady. You'll end up in a hallway that leads to the Gryffindor common room, before you get there though, there's a passageway to the left. Head down there and you'll enter the reading room (watch out for Percy!)

Sneak past Percy to the north wall of the reading room and say the password Ron gave you (flibbertigibit) to the painting. It will open up and you'll be able to crawl through into Fred & George's shop. It's in an old bathroom - ewww!

How do you get the Alohomora spell in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets?

Hello Gate Keeper,

In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Ron's brothers have Alohomora spell in their shop on the 7th floor! Check out the walkthrough above this tip.

Once you're there, you need 80 Beans to buy it - to get that many beans you'll have to check this cheat page for info on where to find the bigger bean bags as well as all the beans you'll need.
