How Often Do You Read Books?

  • Every day - I'm a massive bookworm.
  • At least once a week.
  • Only when my TV's broken and the Internet isn't working.
  • Hardly ever - unless it's for school.

Could anyone give me some good feedback on this poem?  Your bitter glow shines  of beauty and greed attracting men like flies playing with their dreams and shattering their minds Your lustrous brightness the shade of sunshine masks a darkness muddling your past and  paving your future You have a value to which few can compare The world was built on you yet worlds will fall to you of a sum too great, or too few You have ruined a million lives so many dead from disease brought by your lovers By the thundering blasts they shot in desperate desire You have saved a million lives giving wealth beyond wildest fantasies Lifting them to glory on your shoulders Bringing happiness, elation, success Granting wishes as if you rose from a bottle But nothing gold can stay The wealth turns to patronization the glory to arrogance The elation morphs to greed Wishes become too extreme for you to fill So the axes return  chipping away at unforgiving walls Tirelessly, endlessly relentlessly Each strike full of frantic hope To find a sparkle in the stone This was written about gold, especially in history. Enjoy!
