HitStreak: Made-for-Mobile Original Music Theme Series

ShowMobile, an interactive social/mobile storytelling platform, launched HitStreak, it’s first made-for-mobile music-themed scripted original series. HitStreak, has been referred to by WetPaint as “Glee for your phone"!

ShowMobile debuted HitStreak Summer, a new cycle of episodes of ShowMobile’s original transmedia series. HitStreak episodes been viewed over 50 million times on the ShowMobile app and YouTube channel. Starting on June 26, new episodes will feature original music and guest appearances from YouTube fashion and beauty star Meredith Foster (Stilababe09), and Maddie Ziegler of Lifetime’s hit show “Dance Moms” and star of Sia’s viral hit music video “Chandelier”.

The family friendly show follows four talented YouTube stars as they try to save legendary Miami recording studio “HitStreak” with the help of their fans, friends and phones. The cast, which took four months of auditions to assemble and was hand selected to appeal to the target teen audience, includes Noah (16), Crystal (15), Brian (13), and Mariangeli (10). Chiqui Delgado, actress and host of Univision’s “"Mira Quien Baila,” joins the cast as a former Latin Pop Star, and Howard Hesseman of “WKRP in Cincinnati” and “Head Of The Class” fame joins as a legendary recording engineer/producer and owner/founder of “HitStreak” Studios.

HitStreak Summer also includes guest appearances from two of today’s hottest young stars. Meredith Foster is a YouTube fashion and beauty sensation whose Stilababe09 channel boasts more than 2.4 million subscribers and 164 million views. Foster’s videos focus on fashion, beauty and inner confidence for tween and teen girls.

Fans can watch HitStreak on YouTube’s ShowMobile Channel and within the free ShowMobile app, where they can receive direct messages from the cast, interact directly with the characters via social media, and participate in real-time polling to influence the plot.
