Dragon Ball Z: Budokai PS2 Review

The high-speed action of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai will glue you to your controller as soon as you start it up. The combat system is simple, fast and lets you toss Ki Attacks with the tap of a button. You can also fly around, and transform, to unleash your true hidden power in the middle of a battle!

There are tons of options for training and battling your way through the Dragon Ball Z story from when Vegeta first arrives on Earth, all the way to the Cell Saga. You get to battle Vegeta, stomp on the Saiyan goons that come to destroy Earth, blast Frieza into next week and turn the Androids into scrap!
If Dragon Ball Z: Budokai's has a weakness, it's that the graphics aren't so hot for a Playstation 2 game. Some of the characters are a little fuzzy and the battlegrounds could put you to sleep before you manage to clobber your opponent. The only other problem with Dragon Ball Z: Budokai is that it zips through the Dragon Ball Z story in record time. Unless you already know what's going on, you're gonna get confused.
If you're a Dragon Ball Z fan - this is the game for you. If you aren't a Dragon Ball Z fan, it's still a solid fighting game, and worth checking out.
