Manic Panic Make-Up

Dec 27, 2006

Are you tired of that [kwlink]same old hairstyle[/kwlink] that you've had since you were six? Need some hair color and style ideas that will get you the attention you deserve? Manic Panic has a whole line of hair products that you should get your hands on as soon as possible!

Manic Panic Glam Strip

For those who just want a touch of color for that big party on Friday night, grab yourself a Glam Strip for the occasion. Glam Strips are funky streams of synthetic, colored hair that slide into your own hair with a tiny attached comb. You can use just one color or mix-and-match for a groovy rainbow effect. The great thing about Glam Strips is that you don't have to dye your hair to get the cool color you want. We even think then [kwlink]'rents will approve[/kwlink]!

Dye Hard Temporary Hair Color Styling Gel

Here's another product you won't have to get into a screaming match with the 'rents to use. This product is also multi-functional. Not only with it keep your hair in place, it will also add some pretty far-out colors to your natural hair. The Dye Hard styling gels come in a ton of bright, eye-catching colors and will wash out the very next time you wash your hair. You can even show up at school with different colored streaks every day! How cool is that?

Manic Panic Hair Color - Not For The Faint At Heart

If you're ready to make a serious commitment (well, a four to six week commitment) to having fabulously colorful hair, then Manic Panic Hair Color is for you. There are two hair color formulas, the cream hair color and the gel hair color. You can get over 30 different colors in the cream variety and 17 basic shades in the gel. I tried the Vampire Red cream hair color, which helped me to realize exactly why you need to follow all directions precisely. The creams are a bit messier and take a little more patience to apply. You are definitely going to need someone to help you out with your dying preferably an adult. Also, if you're not willing to have your hair chemically lightened (bleached or tinted,) then you probably won't get the desired effect. For the brightest possible color, you'll need to lighten your hair.

Keeping That Crazy Color

The Manic Panic hair colors are only semi-permanent so they're not supposed to stay in forever. If you want to try and lengthen the amount of time your hair color sticks around, splurge and get the accompanying Manic Panic Colorizing Shampoo for your shade. The shampoos are designed to keep putting color back into your hair while you wash it. It does feel a bit odd for shampoo and you're not going to get a very good lather, but your hair will come out feeling clean and looking vibrant so that's all that really matters!
